1. Who we are

Rawdog ("we", "our", "the app") is a wellness app that helps you engage with your wellness using data from Apple Health and compatible wearables. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. For any questions, contact support@littlerawdog.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Health and wellness data: With your permission, we read data from Apple Health and compatible wearables, such as heart rate, heart rate variability, activity, and related metrics. This data is used only to provide wellness-related features such as the dashboard, timeline of events, and optional journal.
  • Device and app usage: We may collect limited technical and usage information necessary to run the app and optional cloud features, such as device type and app version.
  • Location (optional): When you grant permission, we collect location only while the app is in use, for behavioral and context signals such as stress-pattern analysis. We do not track your location in the background. We retain location-derived context only as long as needed for the service.
  • Account: The app can be used without creating an account or logging in. If you use optional cloud features, we may store a local or server-side profile linked to your device.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing. We do not monetize your personal or health data.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the app, including the dashboard, events, journal, and optional cloud sync.
  • To run optional backend services when you use them.
  • To comply with law and protect our rights and users' safety.

We do not use HealthKit or health data for ads, and we do not write false or misleading health data.

4. Data storage and security

  • Data may be stored on your device and, if you use optional cloud features, on our servers, including AWS in us-east-1.
  • We use industry-standard measures, including encryption such as AES-256 and, where applicable, AWS KMS, to protect data in transit and at rest.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your health or personal data with third parties for their marketing or advertising.

5. Age and eligibility

Rawdog is intended for users 18 years of age and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact support@littlerawdog.com and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

You can stop using the app at any time. You can revoke Health and location access in your device settings. For optional cloud data, you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@littlerawdog.com. We will respond in line with applicable law.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app or at this same URL and, where required by law, we will seek your consent.
